It's always nice to spot Aussie jazz legend Allan Browne on the front page of this heart-warming website. Just seeing his cheery countenance brings back happy boyhood memories from the sixties, when as an enthusiastic jazz-loving teen, I used to sometimes sneak out from home late at night to listen to bands like the Red Onions. (Dear Mum and Dad thought I was in my room studying hard!)
