Bernie McGann (born 22 June 1937) is a renowned Australian jazz alto saxophone player. He began his career in the late 1950s and is still active as a performer, composer and recording artist. He is a player and composer and is one of the most original and accomplished modern jazz soloists to emerge from the Australian scene.

I really love this CD. As good as jazz can be heard anywhere.
I 100% support this excellent recommendation. Having heard Bernie live countless times and having the pleasure of owning a few of his excellent CDs - including performances with Ten Part Invention - I believe he's one of our living musical treasures and if I might be so bold to day so, one of the world's finest exponents on alto-sax.
