James Sherlock (born 1983 in London) is a classical pianist and conductor. He studied at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, Eton College, Trinity College Cambridge and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with Joan Havill. He has performed on six continents and given recitals in many European festivals including Edinburgh, Harrogate, Leeds International, Chelsea, Ryedale, St Martin in the Fields, Ravenna, La Verna, Olomouc, La folle Journee, and in the Queen Elizabeth and Barbican Halls. Competition successes include the Royal Overseas League Piano Competition, BBC Fame Academy and Gold Medal and President of Italy's Medal at the Marcello Galanti Competition.

Hi Kate - James Sherlock was quite likely playing a duet with vocalist Kristin Berardi, from their album 'If You Were There'.
Check them out, they often appear on gigs around the country and have just been included on the 2011 Melbourne International Jazz Festival line-up, kicking off in June.
