You tend to think of Jimmy Smith music as being organ dominated but this is another example of the great musicians that played with him, especially brass. This set includes trumpeter Lee Morgan, altoist Lou Donaldson, tenorman Tina Brooks, guitarist Kenny Burrell, drummer Art Blakey, and others. Great stuff.

It must be Sunday night and sure enough, shortly after Jazz Track ends, along comes Jimmy Smith, regular as clockwork! Hey you guys...we're beginning to wonder whether ABC Jazz programmers just stick on the Sunday MP3 rather than putting any thought/effort into their content!
