The duo flew to Norway to simply sit down and "play"... these 12 improvisations have formed this new album.

Rainbow Studios in Norway, with legendary ECM engineer Jan Erik Kongshaug at the helm.  That was the setting for Mike Nock and Laurence Pike, as they returned to the venue of Mike's pivotal 1981 ECM recording Ondas.  They recorded a good deal of electric material throughout the session, but kept returning to the acoustic piano and drums, with some subtle use of live drum samples... quite fitting for the space and environment.

Michael Anthony Nock ONZM (born 27 September 1940) is a New Zealand jazz pianist, currently based in Australia. Biography: Nock began studying piano at 11. He attended Nelson College for one term in 1955. By the age of 18, he was performing in Australia. He headed a trio that toured England in 1961 and then attended Berklee College of Music.
