One of Australia's leading bassists, Craig Scott has played with such jazz heavyweights as Joe Henderson, Red Rodney, Urbie Green, Eddie Daniels, Bobby Shew, Lee Konitz, Ronnie Scott, Jim McNeely and Mark Levine.

He has also been the backbone of many legendary Australian jazz outfits lead by the likes of Don Burrows, James Morrison, Julian Lee, Kerrie Biddell, Paul MacNamara, Alan Turnbull, Steve Brien, Judy Bailey and Roger Frampton.

Craig is the Chair of the Jazz Studies Unit at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and coordinator of the Master of Music (Jazz) degree programme.
