Artist Biography
Mike Nock. He began studying piano at 11 and by 18 had gigs in Australia. He headed a trio that toured England in 1961 and then attended Berklee College of Music. He was a member of Yusef Lateef's band from 1963 to 1965. During 1968-70 Nock was involved with fusion, leading the Fourth Way. After a few years he became a studio musician in New York (1975-85) and then returned to Australia. His 1987

What a delight this website is . Made the snow in New York look like Bondi beach for me . Great to see the master play the piano with such fine support from mark . My hope is that this great website can be expanded to include some historical Australian jazz footage which is sorely missed on the web .

I had heard Mike Nock's work beofore and its enjoyable to see him "in the flesh". Mark Lau looks like a promising talent also.
