Chicago-based Dee Alexander, in Australia for the 2014 Sydney International Women's Jazz Festival and previewed here by Jessica Nicholas.

SIMA's third Sydney International Women's Jazz Festival took place in November, 2014. Dee Alexander flew out from the US to headline the festival, performing at Foundry 616. Her band included her musical director Miguel de la Cerna, as well as Sydney-based musicians Brett Hirst on bass and Tim Firth on drums.
