The 3rd annual Sydney International Women's Jazz Festival kicked off with the Chicago-based singer Dee Alexander performing at Foundry 616 in Ultimo, Sydney.

On Thursday, November 6, the Hannah James Trio, featuring Hannah on bass, Casey Golden on piano and Ed Rodrigues on drums launched their second album, Triliphony, with the set being recorded by RN Music for a later broadcast.

Andrea Keller and Miroslav Bukovsky teamed up for a new project, performing arrangements from the Polish jazz composer Krzysztof Komeda, who wrote scores for films by Roman Polanski and many others. The band will be in Melbourne during December 2014, and will also be featured on Gerry Koster's Jazz Up Late.
