One of the classic recordings of all-time.  Smokin' At The Half Note saw guitarist Wes Montgomery team up with The Wynton Kelly Trio for some live recordings at New York's Half Note club in 1965, with some additional tracks recorded at Rudy Van Gelder's New Jersy studio.

He is widely considered one of the major jazz guitarists, emerging after such seminal figures as Django Reinhardt and Charlie Christian and influencing countless others, including Pat Martino, George Benson, Russell Malone, Emily Remler, Kenny Burrell, Pat Metheny, and Jimi Hendrix. Hi Andrew. Yes the remastered version has now been released on Verve. This edition includes tracks left off the original LP.
