Correct.... you should have song titles in the 'Now Playing' box when listening to ABC Jazz from this website. This information won't be available when listening to the mp3 stream or on Digital TV, so you'll need to check the 'Just Played List' from the website.

Have you tried listening to the Windows Media or Real Player streams? These will allow you to see 'Coming Up', 'Now Playing' and 'Just Played' display. But it depends on your setup...

It would be fantastic if the song details could be included in the internet stream. This would save having to open up the website to see what's being played, and integrate with websites such as last.fm to keep track of what's been heard.

Also, I sent an email a month or so ago about the quality of the internet streams, but it sounds like they've been fixed! Thanks!

You asked about increasing the quality of the signal on Digital TV. Sorry that's out of our hands. The ABC has a finite amount of Digital TV bandwidth and that's what they can spare for ABC Jazz. We are thankful they could squeeze us in.

The content on Jazztrack and Jazz Up Late contains music material, which makes a downloadable file a breach of copyright. Luckily, you can hear the program as streaming-on-demand on the ABC website. You can also catch the repeat broadcasts of Jazz programs right here on ABC Jazz:

Jazz Up Late (Friday): repeated on Mondays at 9.00pm
Jazztrack (Saturday): repeated on Tuesdays at 2.00pm and 9.00pm
Jazztrack (Sunday): repeated on Wednesday at 2.00pm and 9.00pm

are you referring to abc jazz in general or the mal stanley program?the only jazz on the abc that i listen to is gerry kosters definitive "jazz up late" which i check out either live on friday night ( too late) or more often, on line
