Valley Jazz Festival Ticket Giveaway
The biennial Valley Jazz Festival in Brisbane is on from May 25 to 29 and ABC Jazz is giving three people the opportunity to win a double pass to a performance of their choice.
With the 2011 program featuring over 50 concerts across 16 venues in the live music precinct of Fortitude Valley, winners will have a difficult choice to make.
Some of the artists on the line up include: Vince Jones, the Mark Isaacs Resurgence Band, the Nat Bartsch Trio, the Jacam Manricks Quartet and the Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra featuring Kristin Berardi.
For your opportunity to win a double pass, tell us which show you would like to see and why.
To see who's playing, go to the program guide at the Valley Jazz Festival website.
Please note, the prize is tickets only, you will have to make your own way to the venue.

The Double Bill - Matt McMahon Trio (Sydney) + Jacam Manricks Quartet (New York) would be an interesting mix of musical dynamics from the slightly differing interpretations of the music between the Australian and New York musicians.
Edward Carroll
I would love to see the Quinsin Nachoff Quartet and Zac Hurren Trio double bill. Because I would love to hear how a 'mellifluous' saxophone would sound, that is interesting...
Darren Skaar
VINCE JONES. I saw Vince play The Woodford Folk Festival just over a year ago and it blew my mind. I got to meet him backstage because I'm friends with singer Darren (Mr) Percival and he was just so lovely, his whole band were. I play trumpet professionally in Brisbane (with The Rooftops) and I would love to take my mum this time, because she is the one that got me onto him when I was growing up with the album 'Come in Spinner' and love bonding with my mum over music :)
