A remarkably innovative, creative, lateral thinking, team-playing bassist who doesn't simply take the conservative path of adhering to the notes in regular chord changes, time or key signatures. Linda works outside, around and inside the music as she tastefully responds to the musical expressions of those around her whilst making her own compelling presence felt. For any creative musician, she must be a joy to work alongside. ( I voted for her in the last Downbeat Readers Poll and no doubt I'll vote for her in future.)
Power to you Linda!
