2012 ARIA Nominees for Best Jazz Album announced

ARIA has announced nominees for the Fine Arts and Artisan award categories, including Best Jazz Album

A diverse range of Australian talent has been nominated in the seven Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) Award categories announced this week.

These awards will be presented in Sydney on Wednesday October 3, where the nominees for the remaining genre awards will also be announced.

Barney McAll (born Melbourne, Australia, 1966) is a jazz pianist and composer. His ensembles include "M.O.D.A. S", "Sylent Running" and his most recent project "GRAFT", which features; 16 voices, two pianos, vibraphone and laptop. He was awarded the prestigious fellowship from the Australia Council for the Arts in 2007 and is currently musical director for Australian vocalist Sia Furler. Barney...
