Diana Krall produces Streisand, sings for Depp

Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall has moved to the other side of the mixing-desk to produce the new album from Barbra Streisand.

Streisand's first studio album in four years, scheduled for release in September, sees her collaborating with Krall and her own quartet of guitar, bass, and drums.

Track details have yet to be announced.

The Canadian chantuese is also gracing the silver screen alongside Johnny Depp with a cameo in the Michael Mann-directed film Public Enemies. Krall sings the jazz standard 'Bye Bye Blackbird'.
