Hank Jones dies aged 91
Brother of legendary drummer Elvin Jones, Hank Jones has worked with the majority of leading names in jazz history.
During his 70 year career he collaborated with the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Ben Webster and Dexter Gordon.
He was also known for accompaning Marilyn Monroe when she sang the infamous Happy Birthday Mr President to John F Kennedy in 1962.

Henry "Hank" Jones (July 31, 1918 – May 16, 2010) was an American jazz pianist, bandleader, arranger, and composer. Critics and musicians described Jones as eloquent, lyrical, and impeccable. In 1989, The National Endowment for the Arts honored him with the NEA Jazz Masters Award.
