Congratulations to Chris O'Dea from Croydon, NSW, who has been awarded the Most Promising Player Award for 'Juilliard Winter Jazz School at Trinity'.

Trinity College Melbourne will host a winter Jazz program for 15-18yr olds led by the faculty of NY's prestigious Juilliard School.

The one week residential program will be held at Trinity College, The University of Melbourne from June 28-July 2.

Students will be instructed by a jazz quintet, led by drummer Carl Allen, Director of the Jazz Program at the Juilliard School of Music, NY.

Similar programs have been organised by Juilliard in Japan, Spain and Korea, however, this is the first event of its kind in Australia.

The Juilliard Quintet will perform at the Jazz School's Finale Concert, on Friday 2 July, 6-7pm in the Trinity College Chapel, Royal Parade, Parkville, VIC.

For more details about the program, head to the Trinity College website.
