Tune in to our Aussie jazz playlist this week as we hear more from a solo work by pianist and composer Nat Bartsch titled 'Hometime.'

Playlist Information

A playlist and listen-again audio are available for 1 month by clicking the play button above after the broadcast.

Nat Bartsch's new record was captured on her upright by fellow pianist Luke Howard. It's also her debut solo release - and on it, Bartsch blends contemporary classical with improvisations and subtle effects. Plus, more great Australian music from John Sangster, Peter Knight and Kristin Berardi.

Natalie continues to evolve as a pianist and composer, having established a strong foundation within her trio, this album reflects a new challenge in her performance capability. Her hallmark of light and space in her compositions, and delicate feel for the melody culminate in some of the most moving pieces she has ever written. The dedication to the lives of Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran is very special.
