Featured on Jazz Up Late: Sydney saxophonist Sandy Evans and her new album 'Cosmic Waves', featuring Guru Kaaraikkudi Mani and Sruthi Laya.

Sydney-based saxophonist Sandy Evans' latest album features her in collaboration with Indian percussionist Guru Kaaraikkudi Mani and the Srithi Laya ensemble, and Cosmic Waves is one of the featured new releases this week.

Wadada Leo Smith's Ten Freedom Summers is again featured and guitarist Mary Halvorson's latest album Bending Bridges returns and you'll also hear from drummer Simon Barker's new solo album Driftwood.

Also featured is a selection from Clocked Out's unique album The Wide Alley - an unusual amalgamation of Orient and Occident, the result of more than ten years of collaborations between Chinese composer, percussionist and vocalist Zou Xiangping, and percussionist Vanessa Tomlinson and pianist Erik Griswold from Australia.
