After 33 years The 100 Club Concert 1979 delivers the first presentation of a complete concert performance from Elton Dean's Ninesense. A key figure in British improvised music since the late '60s until his death in 2006, the saxophonist and composer is best remembered for his roles in such groups as Soft Machine, the Keith Tippett Group, the Brotherhood of Breath and the London Jazz Composers Orchestra. Few recordings exist of Ninesense and we'll hear the first of two sets featured on this important historic release.
