On this episode of Jazz Up Late, Owen McKern presents a program of new releases, with a few albums from 2012 that may have passed you by.

There’s brand new releases from the Bobo Stenson Trio and Chris Potter, as well as local albums from the trio Origami and Tim Pledger’s new band ‘Product’.  We also re-visit an amazing recording by the Ted Vining (pictured) Trio – originally released on vinyl, and long out of print The Ted Vining Trio – Live at PBS FM 1981 has just been re-released on CD, and tonight we’ll hear Coltrane’s ‘Impressions’.

The latest albums from The Necks, Nik Bärtsch, the Alister Spence Trio and Vijay Iyer also get a spin just in case you missed them when they first hit the CD stores last year.
