Jazz Up Late:

It's All About Time

Chris McGregor
Page added Aug 8, 2012 Updated Aug 17, 2012

Jazz fused with the music of the South African townships with Chris McGregor's reissued and expanded 1979 solo album 'In His Good Time'.

Along with the founder of the celebrated South African mixed-race band 'The Blue Notes', we’ll also hear from the 'British Dedication Orchestra' and their album Time, which celebrates 'The Bue Notes' band members and their music.

Plus the group 'Ques't with Dave Liebman, Richie Beirach, Ron McClure and Billy Hart who re-united after 15 years in 2005 for a European tour, and new recordings by Bernie McGann and bass guitarist Christopher Hale.
