Arcoluz Trio live

2012 MIJF 65
Page added Oct 5, 2012 Updated Oct 11, 2012

Hear Renaud Garcia-Fons and his Arcoluz Trio, recorded live at this year's Melbourne International Jazz Festival. That's on Jazztrack...

One of the highlights from this year’s Melbourne International Jazz Festival was a concert by French bassist Renaud Garcia-Fons and his Arcoluz Trio, and on today’s show you’ll hear an extract from that performance.

There’s music by Israeli saxophonist Eli Degibri (who also appeared at this year’s MIJF) and the Beirut-born, Paris-based trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf.

And we’ll also hear a handful of new Australian jazz releases, and music from a previously unreleased 1979 concert by Keith Jarrett.

See the complete playlist here.
