One of Australia's jazz pioneers Brian Brown passed away recently and this episode of Jazztrack features his music from the late 50's to more recent times.

Also on the show, vocalist Marianne Solivan, who is turning heads in New York.  Norwegian bassist Arild Andersen with the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, Neneh Cherry with a tune by her stepfather Don Cherry with the trio 'The Thing' plus new releases from Dave Kikoski, Wayne Escoffery and more.
