Page added Nov 26, 2014 Updated Dec 5, 2014

Pink Floyd's iconic 1973 album 'Dark Side of the Moon' comes under the jazz microscope on this episode, with a big band interpretation.

The French/Vietnamese guitarist Nguyen Le teams up with arranger Michael Gibbs and the NDR Big Band to tackle the work of one of the most influential rock albums - Dark Side of the Moon.

Another big band featured on this episode is a cut from a recent Jazztrack session with the Sydney Jazz Orchestra, led by saxophonist Tim Oram.

We'll also hear more from Paul Grabowsky’s new solo release, which was recorded for Jazz Up Late with Gerry Koster. Plus, we'll hear the 2nd part of our Jazztrack recording from the 2014 Melbourne International Jazz Festival, featuring saxophonist Charles Lloyd and his Sky Trio.
