Pat Metheny includes a saxophone in his band for the first time in 30 years. Hear music from 'Unity Band' and other selections on Jazztrack.

Also on the show.. Eric Reed tackles the music of Thelonius Monk, Charlie Haden and his memorable duo recording with Italian guitarist Antonio Forcione and Herbie Hancock's Maiden Voyage album gets a big band reworking by the Westchester Jazz Orchestra.

And… the upcoming Wangaratta Jazz Festival line up was announced recently and you can hear music from a few of the artists who will be appearing - Trio M and rising star vocalist Gregory Porter.
