Playlist Information

A playlist and listen-again audio are available for 1 month by clicking the play button above after the broadcast.

Hear unreleased Sonny Rollins with his trio of Henry Grimes (bass) and Pete La Roca (drums). On top of that, we'll check out another European recording of Sonny with trumpeter Don Cherry, captured in Stuttgart, 1963. There's also music from Duke Ellington at Newport, as we celebrate 60 years since that iconic appearance, which many critics claim revitalised Ellington's career (full set featured on Thursday Night Live).
