Mal remembers the late guitar virtuoso John Abercrombie who passed away in August 2017 with music from his 2010 Australian tour.

Music from guitar titan John Abercrombie as the jazz world mourns his passing on this episode, with a live recording from Melbourne in 2010, plus a duo recording from 1976 with Ralph Towner - one of his many albums out on the iconic ECM label.

Also on the show - music from another recently departed jazz musician - Dutch pianist Misha Mengelberg with his co-led ICP Orchestra captured at the 2006 Wangaratta Jazz Fest. As well as that, there's new releases from the band Kneebody and trombonist Ryan Keberle.
