A stalwart if the West Australian jazz scene, Graham Wood passed away in July 2017. Wood was well known as both a performer and an educator in Perth, and also played a significant role in the city's cultural life as a co-owner of the famed Ellington Jazz Club, an Associate Professor at WAAPA and a founder of the Perth International Jazz Festival. He's remembered on this episode with some of his early and later trio albums.

There are also some more MPS reissues, featuring the US saxophonist Bob Malach in Europe and a rare 1970 album by the adventurous New Jazz Trio.
