We remember guitarist and bassist Walter Becker who passed away September 2017 - an integral member of the iconic jazz-rock band Steely Dan.

As the music world mourns the loss of Steely Dan's Walter Becker, we take a look back at one of the group's most jazz-tinged albums - Aja. Becker will be remembered for his many classic compositions - written with his long-time collaborator Donald Fagan.

Also coming up on the show are a plethora of new releases, with music from guitarist Vic Juris, drummer Alex Cline with his Zen Buddhist inspired new recording and clarinettist Anat Cohen with her 'Tentet.'

Further to my earlier comment on "Blue In Green", the Tangent Trio version of "Spartacus" on the same album is also charmingly quirky.
