The new CD by 'Quest', with Dave Liebman, Richie Beirach, Ron McClure and Billy Hart returns this week, plus we'll hear from the latest album by the Anglo-Norwegian collaboration 'FOOD', led by saxophonist Iain Ballamy and drummer Thomas Stronen, and English vocalist Christine Tobin sings the poetry of W.B. Yeats on her latest album Sailing To Byzantium.
Also included are recent releases by the Fred Hersch Trio, the FAB Trio with Joe Fonda, Barry Altschul and Billy Bang and the Scandinavian-British trio 'Phronesis' which is soon to make its Australian debut.
We'll also hear from ensembles led by Quentin Angus, Graham Wood and Phil Slater and the late drummer Pete la Roca - and Niko Schauble's Tibetan Dixie from their album Ya-it-ma Thang.

Sublime! That's all I can say regarding Fred Hersch's heart-rending takes on "The Wind"/"Moon and Sand" featured on last Sunday's Jazztrack programme. This album is on my shopping list.
