An prodigiously gifted bass player - although of course there are numerous other outstanding bassists around including John Patitucci, Linda Oh, Anders Jormin, Stanley Clarke and Arild Andersen. His trio recording "Live At The Village Vanguard",is a must-listen chiller. Having had the pleasure of hearing him live in several formats plus a number of others mentioned, acoustically and electrically, Christian does appear overall to be the current 'Ace of the bass'!
