The 2012 Australian Jazz Bell Awards have just been handed out, and we’ll hear from some of the winning albums and ensembles. More details here.

We’ll also hear from several musicians whose surnames suggest that a life in music was all but inevitable: Matt Brubeck (son of Dave) and Lulo Reinhardt (grand-nephew of Django). 

Plus there’s new music from UK saxophonist Andy Sheppard and New York-based Australian pianist Barney McAll.
