Saxophonist Harry Allen revisits the Great American Songbook legends Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Duke Ellington on his new release.

Harry Allen has long rooted his playing style in the swing tradition, and this latest release is a testament to his love of the classic jazz standards. Titled For George, Cole and Duke, the album is a tip of the hat to these three prolific composers. He is joined by Ehud Asherie on piano, Chuck Redd on drums and vibraphone, 'Little Johnny' Rivero on percussion and the Australian ex-patriot Nicki Parrott on acoustic bass and vocals, on this episode we'll hear the Cole Porter classic 'Shall We Dance.'

We'll also hear more from the Australian saxophonist Sandy Evans and her new CD Kapture, plus new music by pianist David Berkman and trombone player John Fedchock.
