The Israeli-born, New York-based pianist Shai Maestro explores subtle electronic effects and also invites guest vocalists along for the ride, joining long-time musical partners Jorge Roeder (bass) and Ziv Ravitz (drums) on The Stone Skipper. Shai Maestro (born February 5, 1987) is an Israeli jazz pianist. He has been a member of Avishai Cohen's band from 2006 until 2011. In 2011 he formed the Shai Maestro Trio together with Peruvian bassist Jorge Roeder and Israeli drummer Ziv Ravitz. They released three albums: Shai Maestro Trio (2012),The Road to Ithaca (2013). and Untold Stories (2015).
