Playlist Information

A playlist and listen-again audio are available for 1 month by clicking the play button above after the broadcast.

Following on from our broadcast of Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra on Thursday Night Live, we thought we'd hear from the man himself during a period where he was one of the young upstarts in the American scene.

On this episode, Wynton sits down with broadcaster Ben Sidran, and selects a plethora of tracks, including a classic from Louis Armstrong, as well as some of his own early records.

Hi Cathy, thanks for getting in touch!

Unfortunately our Listen Again Audio for this particular interview has expired. They are normally available for 28 days after the broadcast.

That being said, Wynton did appear on Margaret Throsby's show recently, and we do plan to broadcast that interview in the near future on ABC Jazz.

Sorry about that and thanks for listening.

I was driving to work when I came across the interview with Wynton Marsalis so I missed the last half of it. I would love to sit down and have a proper listen of the full interview.

Can you please let me know where I might find it?
