77 yearsold jazz tragic ,caught afliction when saw Glenn Miller in 'Orchestra Wives " movie in 1942, force fed when in front row to Artie Shaw,s US Navy Band on David Jones Sydney store 6th floor 1943.(Auntie married US Navy Commander ).Seen Ellington ,Basie,Peterson, Torme,Fitzgerald, Herman,etc.etc live.Spent 1/2 my income on records . Tried to beat affliction but given up,( have to admit it.s nice,I like it)
