I have been digging jazz since I was 9 years old, first with Frank Johnson's Fabulous Dixielanders, but, soon after I found Willis Conover on Voice of America short wave and modern jazz has been my thing since then. I'm sorry however, Gerry's program on Friday nights leaves me cold - it's such a pity; I like the man, in a bloke to bloke situation.......The Dook said, and I only have one album of his, Money Jungle, "It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing."
