Daniel Gassin Sextet. Can highly recommend the new CD. A Beautiful collection of tunes. One for the car for sure. I also had the added pleasure of seeing them Live at Bennet's Lane. What a wonderful player he is. The band was great! and gave the appreciative audience a glimpse of the Brave New World of Aussi Contemporary Jazz. Congrats. Daniel and associates.

Joe Morello is a legend in the Drumming community,both for his recordings and his publications on technique, and development of the hands. His book..."Master Studies" concentrating on his many Sticking exercises and Stroke combinations, was a must for all young hopefuls back in the day, and I believe,still holds it's own as an invaluable tool in the study of control and endurance.

I bought 'The Sea' Jonathan Zwartz for myself last Xmas,and I won't say I haven't stopped playing it. A recording such as this you don't want to thrash. It is too special.A lush,beautiful and mesmerising set of wonderful tunes...This CD is top-shelf and it's Australian. Brilliant!

What an absolute gem.Tina Harrod has produced the best Jazz vocal of the year . From her first line,you know you are in for something special,and Tina and friends deliver. A beautiful,almost haunting melody,with her destinctive voice,carries the listener on an emotional journey,like a book you just can't put down. Musicianship with soul in a song with all the boxes ticked. For me, I can say without exaggeration.....a Masterpiece.
